This 1 hour brief course is approved for 1 CE with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). This free introductory class provides a brief overview of misophonia, sensory differences, and the ways misophonia can impact daily life, relationships, emotions, and nervous system responses. Designed for clinicians, educators, parents, support providers, and individuals interested in learning more, this course serves as a starting point for understanding the condition and current approaches to support.

Participants will learn about common misophonia experiences, triggers, emotional and physiological reactions, and the importance of validation and sensory-informed care. The class also introduces broader concepts related to neurodiversity, sensory processing, and supportive accommodations.

This course is intended as a foundational precursor to more advanced trainings and clinician education programs available through Misophonia International. Participants will also have access to a short post-course quiz to reinforce learning, with optional email follow-up available for additional questions and educational support.
