This course is designed for HR professionals and business owners who want to better understand misophonia and create more supportive, informed workplaces. Participants will learn about the impact misophonia can have on employees, workplace functioning, communication, and accommodations, while gaining practical tools to help educate staff, managers, and co-workers.

The course is delivered through accessible text-based learning and includes downloadable resources, including a workplace training PowerPoint presentation that can be used internally to provide staff education on misophonia awareness and support strategies.

Topics include understanding misophonia, workplace challenges, accommodation considerations, communication approaches, and creating psychologically safer and more inclusive environments for employees affected by sound sensitivities.

Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate of completion and a powerpoint for in-organization training use.

This 1.5 hour class will be held on Zoom and is led by Shaylynn Hayes-Raymond. It is designed for all ages 12 and up (teen to adult) with misophonia, or clinicians looking to learn more. Multiple family members may join under one purchase. Links to join the session will be sent to the purchase email, 1 hour before the event, the day of. Video available for those who cannot watch live (or who prefer to review).
