New Gaming Accessibility Hub Launches as the Largest Centralized Database for Inclusive Gaming Resources and Includes Misophonia

July 27, 2026 — Today marks the official launch of GamingAccessibility.org, a comprehensive online hub designed to bridge the gap between gamers with disabilities, developers, and the broader gaming community. Built as a centralized, community-supported ecosystem, the platform serves as the largest searchable database dedicated to video game accessibility features, accessibility mods, and adaptive gaming resources.

Despite significant industry advancements in recent years, finding tailored accessibility information—such as specific controller remapping options, visual assistance mods, or audio cue guides—often requires sifting through scattered forums, developer notes, and community wikis. GamingAccessibility.org simplifies this process by bringing hardware solutions, software utilities, platform guidelines, and community-driven modifications into a single, intuitive directory. The site has also been built with accessibility in mind, including a full suite of accessibility options to choose from while browsing.

Key Features and Resources Available at Launch:

  • Searchable Features & Mod Directory: Quick access to accessibility mods across major titles, allowing players to filter by UI scaling, font adjustments, colorblind support, and reduced-input controls.
  • Specialized Resource Categorization: Curated sections focusing on blind and low-vision gaming, mental health and therapeutic gaming organizations, and platform-specific accessibility tags (Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, Steam).
  • Community-Driven Submissions: A dedicated submission portal and active Discord community allowing players, modders, and advocates to continuously update and expand the platform’s listings.

“Gaming is for everyone, but finding the right tools or mods to make a game playable shouldn’t feel like a quest of its own,” said the team behind GamingAccessibility.org. “Our goal is to create a living directory that empowers players with disabilities to quickly discover how they can play, while giving developers and modders a centralized space to highlight their inclusive work.”

GamingAccessibility.org is free to access and open to contributions from players, advocates, and developers worldwide.
