Shaylynn Hayes-Raymond has been a dedicated advocate for misophonia since 2015. As the Director of the International Misophonia Foundation and a person living with misophonia herself, she brings unique lived experience to her work. She is the author of Full of Sound and Fury and Misophonia Matters.

Note: Coaching services are based on the Misophonia Matters  and CBT for Misophonia books. This is not a therapy service, but a coaching program offering psychoeducation and coping skills.

  • Standard Cost: $150 USD per session.

  • 10-Session Discount Package: $1000 USD (Save $500).

    • Conditions: Pre-pay only, non-refundable, must be used within 6 months. Sessions are flexible and interchangeable between family members.

  • Billing: Standard sessions require a credit card on file; no pre-payment for single appointments.

  • Format: Conducted via Zoom.

10-Session Coaching Roadmap

  1. Initial Appointment: Psychoeducation and identifying specific needs/challenges.

  2. Self-Assessment: Completing and discussing a misophonia assessment.

  3. Skills Building: Introduction to cognitive and sensory-based strategies.

  4. 4–9. Coping & Sensory Diet: Deep dive into personalized strategies and sensory coping.

  5. Final Session: Progress reflection and process debriefing.
