Misophonia International Contributor Platform
Why Submit To Us?
As one of few organizations that focus on Misophonia, our website and platform aims to provide unique perspectives on sensory disorders (especially Misophonia). While research, advocacy, and coping are our main goals, we encourage writers to share their experiences, advice, and knowledge.
What is a Contributor?
Contributors are writers that have access to our publishing platform. Instead of sending queries via forms and allowing editors to choose photos, tags, and categories, you can do this yourself: any time. Please allow 1-5 days for articles to be accepted and become live on our news website.
Guidelines
We are generally flexible. However, best blog posts are usually between 600 to 1000 words. While we will publish pieces above and larger 1000 words in length, we encourage posts be closer to the 800-1000 range. Posts greater than 1200 words will be edited for length. Posts lower than 600 words will be rejected.
The following are general rules that should be adhered to when posting:
- Try to keep grammar/spelling/formatting errors to a minimum
- No cursing/swearing (some exceptions may apply)
- Please do not include treatment providers in your articles (articles may be rejected on this merit) *
- Please do not suggest violence, or use overly violent conversation.
If you are not interested in becoming a regular contributor, and have only one story to tell, please see this submission form.

To apply to become a contributor please fill out the Application Form. If your application is accepted you will be emailed with notification, as well as your user-login. Your email addressed used to submit will become your account email, so please do not use an infrequently checked address.
