Whether you are seeking support for yourself or a family member, these sessions focus on psychoeducation, coping strategies, and building practical skills. Packages are flexible and can be booked per session or as part of a structured program:

  • 1 session: $125 USD
  • 6 sessions: $600 USD
  • 10 sessions (structured program): $1000 USD

About Shaylynn Hayes-Raymond

Shaylynn holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and has been an advocate for misophonia since 2015. As someone with misophonia herself, she is also the Director of The International Misophonia Foundation and the author of Full of Sound and Fury and Misophonia Matters. All coaching sessions are based on her book Misophonia Matters and provide experience-based skills and psychoeducation for the disorder. Please note that coaching is not a substitute for therapy.


Misophonia Matters 2-Month Coaching Program

This program includes 10 coaching sessions (with 2 sessions free) to be completed over a 2-month period. It is ideal for pre-teens, teens, adults, and family members who want to build coping skills and gain deeper understanding of misophonia. These coaching sessions are not therapy, but are structured to provide practical, experience-based skill-building. All sessions are prepaid and appointments are scheduled for the same time and day each week.

Sessions can be shared between family members (e.g., parents, siblings, teens with misophonia).

Cost: $1000 USD for 10 coaching sessions (normally $125 per session)
Taxes and fees not included. A 48-hour notice is required for rescheduling.


Coaching Schedule

  • Session 1: Initial appointment—Psychoeducation and learning about the client
  • Session 2: Misophonia self-assessment and debrief
  • Session 3: Cognitive and sensory-based strategies
  • Sessions 4-9: Focus on coping skills and sensory diet
  • Session 10: Final misophonia assessment and review of the coaching process

All coaching is offered worldwide via Zoom, providing flexibility and accessibility for clients across the globe.
