Today we’re doing a review of LOOP earplugs. I bought these myself to test and try out. However, if you want to get your own, you can use our affiliate links ♥

These earplugs are literally everywhere over the internet and have basically been championed as some kind of magic bullet for misophonia and sound disorders. I simply don’t think that’s true. Listen, I’ve tried a lot of earplugs and I pretty much live in my silicon ones. I’m not saying LOOP are bad, they’re not! They actually worked pretty well, but I think if we pretend that these earplugs are something super special that we’re being disingenuous.

I would definitely recommend the product to people who prefer a more long-lasting earbud than silicone or foam ones, and over-time, I do think the LOOP are significantly cheaper since you’re not buying and replacing them more often. I certainly don’t regret the purchase, but I feel like these will likely go in my purse for when out in public, instead of sleeping use.

They DO work as advertised to let you hear people talk whilst blocking other noises (although they do muffle the voices, so if you have trouble with hearing muffled voices or are triggered by that, then these aren’t for you).

Over-all, I’d say that yes, LOOP earplugs WILL help you cope with misophonia, but so will drugstore silicone ones.

I also did a video on this, that you can watch below:
